Re: How to read out the gyroscope sensor value of D415

The D415 and D435 do not have a built-in gyroscope, as confirmed by Intel support team member Juan N in the post linked to below.

Re: Is there a gyroscope or accelerometer on the intel Realsense D415 - D435?

An optional 'T150 Tracking Module' component can be added that "includes an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) that holds accelerometer and gyroscope sensors providing 6DOF data".  This module attaches to the D4 Vision Processor component of the caseless Module Kit circuit-board versions of the camera via a 50-pin connector.

Page 41 onwards of the full data sheet document for the RealSense 400 Series cameras describes the T150 Tracking Module.

https://software.intel.com/sites/default/files/Intel_RealSense_Depth_Cam_D400_Series_Datasheet.pdf

If you need a RealSense USB camera solution with the IMU (gyro and accelerometer) built in then you could consider the older ZR300 camera model.  It is no longer available from Intel's store as it was retired last year, though some Intel Authorized Distributor companies still have limited stock. For example, the company Avnet lists having 4 left in stock.

Avnet: Quality Electronic Components & Services

Please bear in mind that the ZR300 would not work with the RealSense SDK 2.0 software, as it is suited to the RealSense SDK For Linux or the original 'Legacy' version of Librealsense that pre-dates SDK 2.0.

Hi jonathanbyrn,

During flying you can still use the drone's hotspot, but the range is going to be very limited.
An alternative would be to use a 915MHz telemetry transmitter/receiver.

Replace F200 USB cable

This might not be the right place to ask this but the USB cable of my F200 is broken. It is out of warranty, so is there a place where I can get those kind of cables? (USB 3.0 to 10-pin header)

Me again,

This morning (Monday) everything works fine.

Don't know if Intel's technicians worked this week-end... or if something went out of an Easter egg... or maybe one day late IDSA's report is an April fool

Let's wait for tomorrow

Unlike later RealSense models, the F200's USB cable is wired into the case.  It looks like there are flat rubber caps either side of the stand's pivot point that would let the stand's pieces be separated to get access to the cable at the point where it enters the camera.

The F200 never had a data sheet document published for it, so it's hard for me to advise you about the wiring without opening my own F200 up.   When you say it is a 10 pin setup though, it makes me wonder if the F200 used the same USB circuitry as the R200 which launched several months later.  In those old cameras, Intel tended to use the same parts in different models.

Someone once made a custom USB cable and interface board for the R200.

I can't find a useful SBUS inverter.   I bought one but it turned the SBUS signal into PPM signal and was not compatible. I guess I will still use the Spektrum controller.

How to get temperature of Intel Compute Stick?

Hello, I'd like to observe temperature of CPU of Intel Compute Stick STK2MV64CC via a program in C++ or C# etc.

Shown below is the proglam I put into another device for the same purpose.

---

var pc = new System.Diagnostics.PerformanceCounter("Thermal Zone Information", "Temperature", "\\_TZ.TZ00");

Console.WriteLine("condition.degree\t" + (pc.NextValue() - 273.15f) + "\t" + System.DateTime.Now);

---

It doesn't work on this computer.

Is there any better way to acquire the data?

Thanks.

This helps a lot, thank you!

I already opened it, here is a picture of it. Maybe this says more to you than it does to me.

Thanks for the advice. It is a 3.0 device. I did wind up finding an old 2.0 8GB drive and used that with the same image. It worked great! They should probably add that to the Getting Started instructions.

S1200V3RPL Won't Boot

Board was working fine and disconnected from power for about an hour, now is completely dead. The green LED near the P1 power connection on the motherboard lights up but nothing else. No startup sequence or lights on the front, ID and power buttons do nothing.

Have also switched out the PSU in case that was the issue, no difference.  No startup, no error codes, no beeps, nothing.

I see there was another thread in the forums with the same issue, but on a new build, with no resolution. Is this board a lemon? We have quite a few servers using this board which makes me very concerned.

Re: Problem Regarding Dedicated VRAM and Gaming [Intel HD Graphics 4000]

Hello EdenC996,

I understand that you are currently experiencing problems with the dedicated video memory.

Regarding this, I would like to know if you made any change software-wise when the problems started, for example, did you re-install the operating system ? or did you upgrade the operating system?

Something I would like you to try is to download and install the latest graphics driver from the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) of your computer. Below is a link with your model and the different downloads:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-pavilion-15-n000-notebook-pc-series/5401225/model/6521594

* Please be aware that the content on that site is not controlled by Intel*. This information is offered for your convenience and should not be viewed as an endorsement by Intel* for the merchants or services offered there.*

I want you to try this because we supply generic versions of graphics drivers for general purposes. Computer manufacturers can change the features, incorporate customization, or make other changes to the graphics driver software or software packaging. To avoid potential installation incompatibilities, we recommend that you first check with your computer manufacturer and use the driver software provided.

Let us know the outcome please.

Regards,
David V
