OK. Here are some updates.
Now, when I try to connect to my adapter, I initially get in parenthesis after the Intel WiDi (Not Responding) and then a message pops up saying "The application has an issue. PLease close and restart the application or consult Common Solutions to Many Issues in Intel WiDi help."
- Prior to that message, I did not receive any system updates
- AFTER that message, I did run system update
- I uninstalled/re-installed the Intel WiDi software
- I verified from Intel website through automatic tool that everything is up to date
- I verified through the requirements that my system meets all requirements
- I updated miniport driver
- I powered off and restarted my router
- I updated my router firmware
- I restarted my computer numerous times throughout the process and continual tries resulted in still "application issues"
- I disabled Norton 360 Smart Firewall and Antivirus Auto-Protect
This is really frustrating b/c I'd really like to use this pre-installed feature. Would really love some support, please.
