Re: Cannot add wireless display in Windows 8.1

I wanted to take a minute to confirm that updating the ProSet drivers has helped me get my laptop (Lennovo U310 Touch) connected to Netgear Push2TV (PTV3000). I was having a problem where I could get connected either to the Internet OR to NetGear Push2TV, BUT NOT BOTH AT THE SAME TIME. I updated to latest drivers at (I think 16.10 as shown above) at this site. Intel® Driver Update Utility for wireless networking

I then removed and readded the device and I was able to Connect (I have always been able to pair the devices, just not finalize the Connection if Internet Wifi and Netgear connection were active at the same time). It still seems somewhat sketchy, but I am able to connect and disconnect fairly reliably (I need to go back and change a few other settings as I was trying a million things to get WiDi to work). Intel, this seems like your issue all the way (i.e. you have a problem with your drivers not properly sharing the Connection between Internet and another device like Netgear).

Thanks to joe_intel for suggesting the latest wifi drivers (and providing the link). If you are helping users to troubleshoot WiDi connectivity to devices, you have them try disabling their Internet Connection while attempting to connect to WiDI device and if that works, then you at least know the Connectivity is setup correctly.
