I just set up my new Sony Vaio Duo 13 with Win 8.1 Preview, and I have the same strange graphics artifacts (big "X" on buttons, textboxes, etc. - everything that has rounded corners) in IE, PDF Reader (Win8 app), and possibly elsewhere, too. Looking fwd to a stable driver for 8.1!
