On the download page, 11.2.0.1006 is only advertised for Intel Desktop boards. Is it safe to use this version on a non-Intel MB with a BIOS which officially only supports IRST 10.8.0.1003?
IIRC there were some reports regarding regressions in CSMI support of some 11.* drivers. Does CSMI_SAS_STP_PASSTHRU still work with 11.2.0.1006?
(I'm author and maintainer of the Windows version of smartmontools, so it is mandatory that pass-through functionality works on my machines)
Same questions apply to newer IRST 11.5.0.1207 :-)
