What happens that results in the blackscreen failure? Failure is sporadic - sometimes associated with a little bit of screen flickering. Usually while using Photoshop or Lightroom and Google docs, the screen suddenly goes black. I can only revive it by turning the computer off manually by holding down the power button. When I turn it back on, there will usually be stripes in the grey startup screen and the fan runs loudly before the screen goes black again before completing startup. I hold the power button again to turn of and then it turns back on, usually without issue the second time. This happens 1-3 times daily. |
