just chiming in to add another faulty wireless adapter to the list...
ASUS UX32A, upgraded from Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium to Windows 8 64 bit Ultimate and wireless connectivity saw a sudden drop. ASUS doesn't seem to acknowledge that there is a problem and believes that doing a factory reset will magically make it work again.
Surely Intel must realize that there's an issue with this line of wireless adapters.
