I already tested the first time you asked with HDMI to Vizio as Primary with laptop display turned off and closed. No change.

I confirmed in the specs that it is HDCP compliant along with the HDMI ports on my laptop.
As for DirecTV saying the error msg is not coming from their app.. they are FOS. It doesnt even come in a separate window much less a separate app. It shows right over the app content in the primary window. How about you try sending them the screenshot I provided at the very beginning of this thread showing that?
