Re: Latest HD 4000 drivers cannot be used for live TV (HD)
The latest release (2932) behaves the same as our test version. It scores a bit higher in the Windows performance index.
Re: Decreased Windows Expereince Index after Driver Update HD 4000
hi,
post here please whole detailed information about score, i must see also 3d business and gaming graphics, because when you have 2 and more graphics, under is written:
The gaming graphics score is based on the primary graphics adapter. If this system has linked or multiple graphics adapters, some software applications may see additional performance benefits.
i have intel hd 4000 and nvidia gt 635m 2GB
I had on aero 4,9 and on 3d graphics 5,5 but this rating make process winsat.exe from windows/system 32.
then I set up that winsat.exe must be run with nvidia and not with intel hd and results are
Processor | Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHz | 7,1 |
| ||
Memory (RAM) | 4,00 GB | 5,9
Graphics | Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 | 4,9
Gaming graphics | 1696 MB Total available graphics memory | 6,7
Primary hard disk | 58GB Free (98GB Total) | 5,9 |
Re: IAStorUI has stopped working
If another program could cause this for me, it could be for others. Try to stop all added programs and restarting IRS. To do this, go to Start > type msconfig > select Startup > select Disable all > select Apply > OK and restart your computer. See if you can manually start IRS. You might need to find it in start, intel, then click on it from there.
You can also try this under the Services tab. Just make sure you Check mark HIDE ALL MICROSOFT SERVICES. You just want to stop installed programs, not windows services.
Re: Sporadic but recurring connection dropouts on an Intel 6235 wireless adapter
Hello,
I've got an Asus UX32VD with the Centrino-6235 and Win 7 64 bit. I use a AVM Fritz.Box 7320 as Router and a D-Link DAP-1522 as WLAN Access point. When my notebook is connectet to the Fritz.box via WLAN than I have no connection problems, but if i use the D-Link then I have the problems mentioned in this thread: sporadic connection problems to the access point.
So this is probably a problem releated to the router. Here must Intel begin to investigate.
Re: SSD Migration problem
Hello again,
I have solved the migration using Paragon migration program. Worked the first time!
http://www.paragon-software.com/technologies/components/migrate-OS-to-SSD/
Cost me some money (20USD) but worth it.
I have a Sony Vaio VPCCW2S1E.
Good luck with your migration. SSD is a noticable improvment.
GMA 3600 driver for Windows 8
Dear community, dear Intel support,
2 Month ago, I decided to buy myself a tablet computer, simply because I wanted to use the new Microsoft Windows 8. I've found one with an Intel n2600 processor, a processor that was release about one year ago. Because it was shipped with Windows 7, I personally checked, and I got the information that all my system components would be compatible, from the official Microsoft website. When The computer then arrived, I installed the support assistant, which reconfirmed the Information I've already known: The Intel N2600 Processor with the GMA 3600 Chipset is fully compatible with Windows 8
The trouble came after the Installation: The problem wasn't even that the Driver wouldn't be working well, but the Graphicsdevice wasn't even recognizes! Long story short: There is NO WAY for me to get that device running, even though it't a very new device and I was told it was going to work.
No I know, it's a chipset that is built in a lot of computers, even in some very new ones. Because of that, I'm by far not the only one with this problem: There are a lot discussions going on right now, concerning the same problem. But maybe, it still isn't enough that Intel finally realizes that they need to follow the needs of their customer: The only thing we can do right now is to ask Intel to provide that Driver, over and over again that they will figure out that this really is a serious thing, and that it's concerning a lot more people than they actually might think.
By the way, here is a petition I've found: It's not me who created it, but I believe with things like that we can show how may we are, so please, take a moment and sign this petition: Windows 8 support for Intel Atom Tablets
I hope you can all support me, and who knows, maybe Intel could do something about that?
Sincerely,
Imer
Re: 3.5.40 is a steaming pile of ****
Another pointless, generic response from Intel 'support'. Judging by the number of posts and views on this widi forum, we are dealing with a technology that doesn't really work
Re: IAStorUI has stopped working
I have tried Intel Rapid Storage Technology v11.7.0.1013 Oficial even on a fresh installed Windows 7 Professional 64bits and still crashed. v11.1.0.1006 worked (and that's like an year old version). So it's clear for me that Intel changed something in the new drivers that make RST to crash/not load on some configurations...
Re: Is it really sufficient to remove old thermal paste with a dry cloth?
Certainly if removing the stock heatsink, a dry cloth or even paper towel is fine. What you'll find on the processor is dry and comes right off. Just keep wiping the surface until the top of the chip is totally clean. No need to remove the processor. The new HSF may require you remove the entire motherboard unless your case has an opening under the processor socket to attach the backer plate.
Re: Wireless-N 2230 & HP ENVY dv7-7240us
Thank you for your Post.
You are correct indeed that a new laptop should not require a system restore. But if you did install security software like firewalls or anti-virus then you might want to disable them. A system restore is recommended when changes have been done (software changes) and the functions used to work correctly in the past.
This wireless adapter is capable of connecting to WEP security using 128bit (26 hex) security key. What you can try is updating the router firmware, just to make sure you run the latest, since this is already and older router. Also try to use different connection utilities, Windows* 7 and Windows* 8 have both an integrated wireless connection utility and may come also with the Intel® PROSet, so you would see both icons in the task tray (may need to “show hidden icons” to see them)
If you do not have the Intel Proset you may download it here:
Windows* 8 (for Windows* 8 32 bit: wireless_15.5.6_e32.exe and wireless_15.5.6_e64.exe for Windows* 8 64 bit)
Windows* 7 (for Windows* 7 32 bit: Wireless_15.3.1_s32.exe or Wireless_15.3.1_s64.exe if your Windows* 7 is 64 bit
Re: Bug report: netwsw00.sys (6230, v15.3.x) BSOD on Windows 8 x64
I can confirm this issue with Nexus 4 wifi-tethering and Windows 7 x64 with N 6205 on a Dell E6420 notebook.
Latest Driver from Intel (15.3.1) and the ones from Windows Update (15.4 from 02.01.2013) show the BSOD (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL with netwsw00.sys) after a short time (<3 min).
I installed 14.2.0.10 and do not have this issue with the old driver.
Please provide an Update that fixes this issue.

Was fixed is an incorrect description. You cannot compare 15.28 and 15.31. They are based on a different stack.
Agreed, that's fair enough and correct.
But end result is that the 15.31's are still the best performing drivers, especially for any gaming.
Just simply testing the 15.28 2932 in Batman: Arkham City, at 720p, High Details, FXAA (High) using the default inbuilt benchmark, the minimum FPS drops as low as 10 during the run (average FPS is 39, maximum FPS is 52)
Now look at how well the 15.31 2885 driver performs with the same settings :-
More than double the minimum FPS!, and a better average and maximum score also, which is noticeably smoother in the game, it's a huge difference.
The 15.28 drivers seem to be getting slower after each revision which is really odd too, almost embarrassingly so, I have no idea what's going on there...
Re: Dell Centrino Advanced N6200 Wont Start
Thank you for your post.
The issue is since these components (wireless, Bluetooth, WiMax and other radio frequency devices) need to be customized to make sure the system complies and stays compliant with all FCC and IEEE regulations, we actually cannot recommend, encourage or support the installation/upgrade of wireless adapters performed by anyone but the laptop manufacturer. See Intel’s position in regards to this at the link below:
http://www.intel.com/support/wireless/wlan/sb/CS-031167.htm
A code 10 error just means that the drivers could not install so indeed you are correct in suspecting a driver issue, the driver issue is raised because the Operating System will not report this adapter as a validated adapter by the computer manufacturer it may even be an already customized adapter for a different laptop. In your situation we would recommend strongly to return the device to the place of purchase, and inquire with Dell* if they can send you a certified adapter.

No luck for me, it always freezes. I can't complain, I guess it will be fixed in the final.
It's definitely a tighter driver in terms of the clockspeeds you can overclock to, maybe that has something to do with it. Maybe some HD 4000's with high clocks (~1250Mhz) are a bit more flaky with it.
Re: Drivers for graphics Intel GMA 3600/3650 - when?
Thanks I used your configured driver for Windows XP. I have the same Acer Aspire One D270 netbook. I've managed to get everything installed and except for Audio Device On High Definition Audio Bus, which I suspect is the HDMI Audio that would have been included in a working Intel GMA 3600 driver. I even got the function keys to work under XP except for brightness as this again has to do with lack of a basic Intel GMA 3600 driver.
But Broadcom Bluetooth, WiFi, Lan, Audio, Launch manager all installed correctly after some researching.
I wonder if it is at all possible to modify the Win 7 32-bit drivers to work under Windows XP. Obviously reduced to basic functionality, and modified API calls, no Aero functions of cause, which would be fine by me.
Still I didn't expect Intel's lack of support on this issue. Very disappointing. It's an eye opener for sure.
Re: 330 180 gb size report
Don't worry, it's just the old issue of measuring capacity in gigabytes (GB) and gibibytes (GiB)
Re: part list TIGPR2U server
The order number for that part is TLPFPIOLP02. It hasn't been manufactured for over five years, though.
Re: Possible memory leak in graphics drivers when creating OpenGL windows
Hi Eric
Could you please test again with the latest Intel HD Graphics driver version 9.17.10.2932?
